21 April, 2023 by Sahar Ajjab

Cellulite is a very common harmless condition, especially between women. It’s when the skin becomes lumpy around thighs,  hips, buttocks and abdomen. Although it’s quite natural, and can happen at any age and weight, sometimes nutrition can help reduce it. We have gathered 5 products to help you use foods to get rid of cellulite.

Berries

Dark berries in general increase the level of collagen production in the body. consequently, it creates more skin tissue layers. In addition, black berries are high on antioxidants, which breaks down the fat that attaches to the outer tissue. According to Dr. Zeichner, this benefits the skin in terms of keeping the fat beneath the skin, so it doesn’t appear lumpy.

Oranges

Both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of oranges, can reduce cellulite. Oranges could be a delicious snack, that strengthens your immune system and protects you from picking up a cold. In addition, use the peeled off skin as a cure for cellulite.

Oily Fish

It is very important to include some types of oily fish in your diet, for several reasons. In fact, apart from the nutritional value they have, some actually believe that they help reducing cellulite. How? Well, eating oily fish like Salmon for example, repairs the skin tissues and fortifies it. This literally means a significant lower chance of developing early cellulite breakout.

Spices

Cayenne is known for containing vitamin B6, which restores and strengthens connective skin tissues. According to several research findings, cayenne can also boost your metabolism and immune system.

Aditionally, Safron is also one of the go-to foods to get rid of cellulite. Dr. Alan Roberts argues that consuming saffron with your meals leads to “Boosting circulation that can reduce cellulite by increasing muscle tone under the skin,”
